Luke & Emma

A beautiful rustic type of day!

Photographing a wedding is one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences for any photographer. It is an event that captures love, emotion, and celebration in a single frame. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Emma and Luke's big day, held at The Arches, Dean Clough in Halifax.

The Arches is a unique and stunning venue with beautiful brickwork and high ceilings that create a beautiful atmosphere for a wedding. As soon as I arrived, I could feel the excitement and buzz in the air as everyone was getting ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony was beautiful, and it was amazing to see Emma and Luke exchange their vows in front of their family and friends. I made sure to capture all the special moments, including the exchange of rings, the first kiss, and the signing of the register.

After the ceremony, we escaped to a quiet place at a local park called Shibden Park. The park is a beautiful place with vast open spaces, trees, and an old Victorian house on the grounds that made for a fantastic backdrop. We spent some time taking photos of Emma and Luke with the old house in the background, and I must say, the results were stunning.

As the day progressed, we captured more precious moments, including the speeches, the first dance, and the cutting of the cake. It was an incredibly fulfilling day, and I felt honoured to be part of such a significant event in Emma and Luke's lives.
